> Summer Activities <

Well, sorry for the lack of updates recently, I guess that means I've been busy... I'll try to fill you in on what's been going on recently on Planet-Bee.

Went to a fabulous club called "Kashpoint" (www.kashpoint.com i think) at the end of July, on a boat moored by the London Eye, aroundabout the Embankment. Went with Nicky, Jiles, Russel and Paul the Stoat. It was themed 'Garden Party' and everyone in there dresses up so it's a fabulously mighty debaucherous affair. Nicky was Alicce in Wonderland, I went in a very little and tight 80s tennis outffit I knocked up via ebay and charity shops, complete with oldskool dunlop McEnroe (sp?) tennis racquet and tow tennis balls down my pants. Russel dressed up as a country lady, and Giles was just a rampant drunken queen or something. My friend Sherri from San Diego came later, as a Hotel maid, and Jenni from Phillly came in some mad outfit shed designed. Paul the Stoat wore all the cricket whites I'd got off ebay, and there were people there in all sorts, someone had a tent on teh dancefloor, there were other cricketers, a rabbit, oh and a NakEd man appeared at the end of the night, I think i remember him from last time actually. We all got very drunk, people were groping my tennis balls, which i then lost over the edge of the boat. Giles annoyed me though towards the end of the night, and when i got home at 5am I went for a hardcore 6 mile run through the town centre and did loads of excercises and step ups and things, AND saw a massive brown rat running around in the bushes which was very scarey. This was after my previous run-ins with mice and stoats the week before, which I'll tell you about later... So anyway, here's some pictures from the night, mostly taken on my cameraphone, because my proper digital one is STILL being fixed by DiCKsons who I am mad at right now.

Other things I've been doing recently:

Getting Robbie to help put things in my G5:

Having a fire in my garden:

Playing video games in the garden, projected onto my neighbour's wall:

Taking Photos of Townie Antisocial Idiots and people that openly take the piss out of my hair:
This kid was on the train back from london about 2am with his mate and were messing about on the train, to put it mildly, then chucked his (or someone else's he'd nicked) bike down the stairs of the station and was generally being loutish:

Bike throwing

These old dudes at Dublin airport totally had a very loud go about my hair to everyone that coudl hear - all the old 'flock of seagulls' gems, and 'is it windy out', 'bzzz electric shock' etc were coming out. I didn't say anythign but jsut took a picture of them, then wierdly they just shut up, and I carried on reading Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. Nice.

Oh and these are some Desborough Kids at the station a while back with a grafitti pen writing on things, although when the kid got challenged he kept on ranting on about it rubbing out easily etc, which I fail to believe, esp when its on metal and the floor etc - that was the day i was up way early and dealing with hardcore passport issues, so I didn't have the energy to do anything...

Here's a pic from when I went to see Throbbing Gristle do their first live gig together for 21 years, after the weekender concert thing got cancelled - it really was AMAzzzing. We got invited to the after party at the hotel and met Genesis P-Orridge again, and lots of other industrialmusic illuminati I was too ill-informed to know who was who. Doh.

I've also been needing a holiday, and not having one:

Seeing interesting cars in Maidenhead, I think this one is a Messerschmitt - and apparently they used the real cabin roof and other parts from the planes to make these after the war. Some lady was driving it with 2 kids in the back one afternoon. Mad. And certainly beats the boy racers or Parkinson in his Ferrari anyday...

I've also been being delayed in Airports rather a lot lately:

Seeing Lorries on fire on the Autobahn in between Dusseldorf & Bielefeld:

And going to the Knowl Hill steam fair, seeing Ferret Races, patting donkeys, seeing prize pidgeons and bird fanciers, tractors, steam engines, eating ice cream and firing big machine guns at targets, and buying kites.

I stroked the Ferret. They are descendants of polecats apparently.

Scarey motionless man outside the bar in Hoxton on Saturday night, who then went and got his bike and tried to follow us to the afterparty mushroom rave thing

> Last week bizniz <

Memory is fading, but last week I went to the gym a couple of times, still sticking with Wayne my personal trainer, even though it total PaiN, and I'm not losing any weight - although I am muchmuchmore mighty fit which is ace. I ran 8 miles on Sunday, in jsut over an hour, which is always great fun, i feeel really cool after that. OH haha, except for when Fresh (of Bad COmpany Fame) drove past and pulled up to tell me he was goign on Holiday. Arg. I really need a holiday, seVVVerely. Im going down to Brighton next week, with Carol, to chill by the sea for a couple of days. I really wanted a nice week in teh sun somewhere, at least Devon, spent HOURRRRsssss searching for places on the net, to no avail. I think I'd rather wait and do it properly when i can really spare the time.

anywayyyy, so I went to Germany on Friday, Stadtgarten in Cologne, had a really good time - I've played there b4 adn its always good, and the guys there are a really nice crowd. We went to my favourite place to get a JagerSchnitzel for dinner:

The only lady that owns the place always comes and sits down next to you like your gran and babbles on in German, and tells wierd German anecdotes, usually revolving aroudn my hair, or all our luggage. Oh, and she gave us some free Schnappss, which I just remembered about, and is probably still in my bag! Yeeehar.

So yeaaa, the gig was cool, travelling painless, and MC Lowqui was down too, was a v nice chap indeed. We had a few beers at the airport on teh way back, waiting for the plane, oh and saw some bizarre cabinet they have there of "things you can't import" basically stuffed animals, or real ones, not entirely sure... Tiger things too.

Here's all teh pics from teh club - a dude called 'redshirt' took them i think (thanks!)...

Check the blue stripey shirt man, rather exited wedding dance.

Ah yes, Teebee played after me - had a good bit of banter while i was still spinning. Thats Jan on the right, one of the DJs/Promoters for the night. Also a fellow Apple Mac addict, but he talks like Borat in Ali G.

Me

Ah, yes, and it was Nicky's birthday on Saturday, she organised a big gang to go to 'around town' in Miadenhead, heaps of ppl there i knew so was nice and relaxing, good spot and good music too, kinda surreal for Maidenhead really. They went off to a house party after, but me and Steve and Mattrick, and a guy called Martin who looked like Gary Numan went to Heroes for a bit, then back to Mattrick's chicken flat.

Cool old rowing fellows

Oh, and The mouse returned to my garden, here he is trying to carry a flower up the wall...

Getting my haircut on tuesday
